Riding Holidays
Whether you are looking for a short break or longer holiday, beautiful hacking can be found at Studland Stables on the Dorset coast. With over 2 miles of uninterrupted beach riding, 3000 acres of heath and forest and 4 miles of stunning coastal and ridge riding, we believe we can deliver on our claim ‘an amazing riding experience’. For groups of 4 or more riders your holiday could incorporate a ‘day ride’ which includes lunch at a local pub. Don’t worry if you are not coming in a group as we have day rides scheduled every month. ‘Western Riding’ is also available as well as the opportunity to ride 2 or 3 different horses during your stay.
Riding
Whether you are learning or have been riding for many years we have horses and rides to suit your ability. If you haven’t already please click our rides tab to read about the stunning rides you could enjoy during your holiday. Please note; The Beach and Old Harry rides are only suitable for riders who can walk, trot and canter confidently and are used to riding in open spaces. The pricing below is based on 2 hour rides.
1 and 1½ hour rides are also available during your riding holiday.
Estimating the ride cost element of your holiday is simple;
2 hours riding during break = £60 per person.
4 hours riding during break (2x2hr) = £110.
6 hours riding during break (3x2hr) = £150.
8 hours riding during break (4x2hr) = £200.
For each 2 hours you add onto the above it is another £50 per person
