TESTIMONIALS

Went down to ride on the beach as a birthday celebration. We were met by friendly staff, who introduced us to our horses. The horses had a name tag with a brief description about them, which I thought was nice. I rode Lilly, who was responsive and forward, and gave me a lovely ride. We were in a lovely group of riders, and I saw many exhilarated grins!
The ride leader was very respectful of us and our surroundings, explaining the rules of the beach as well as ride rules. We were allowed to splash about in the surf, which was fun, and she took a picture of us.
The ride back was through the heath, which was a nice winding track of sand before getting a final chance to ride along the last part of the beach.
In summary, I was amazed at how well behaved the horses were. Yes, they are horses and they sometimes do things unexpected, but along the beach the wind picked up and none of them were phased by it. We had an amazing experience, and would definitely go back again.

I finally got to experience one of my life long wishes with my daughter on a semi private beach ride at the trekking centre Studland as a 60th birthday treat from my husband. Laura was very welcoming on our arrival and we were introduced to Brady who would be looking after us. My daughter is an experienced and confident rider but I was quite rusty as not ridden regularly for over a year. We were matched perfectly with our horses Lily and Seamus who were extremely well behaved throughout. Brady explained the hand signals used by the ride leaders to set the pace which was very helpful. It was a truly special experience and we are already discussing another visit next year. Thanks Brady for taking the lovely photos and video and keeping us entertained.

After years of not been riding, it was a delight to have 1 hour session threw a woodland walk with Percy the horse I was put with. I arranged a booking for my partners birthday, on which he had never ridden before and he very much enjoyed. We had a young man who guided us threw and he was excellent and very friendly, with great photography skills, when taking a photo of us on the horses. I would very much recommend.! Thank you to the staff and also the horses.

I was treated to a voucher for two rides at the trekking centre, the first of which I did on Sunday. Oh my goodness, what an amazing couple of hours. I was lucky enough to ride Chalky, what a lovely boy he is! The ride over the cliffs was beautiful. Chalky was so keen and eager, you could tell how much he enjoyed himself which means you cannot do anything but enjoy it too. All the horses were so well cared for and they just seemed happy. As soon as you enter the yard you can feel the atmosphere. Brady was the lead rider and he was awesome. He took the time to point out the landmarks and even jumped off to take my picture, which I thought was really kind. The other riders in the group were really welcoming and didn’t make me feel like the newbie at all. I had booked my second ride as a beach ride in October, but I just can’t wait so booked another ride in between. This is not the cheapest stables in the area and does not pretend to be. Yes you could get a ride for less but a) you probably won’t get such high quality horses b) You won’t get the views and c) you may not get the brilliant service you do here. I for one cannot recommend these stables highly enough and am really looking forward to becoming a regular.

Enjoyed a delightful evening beach ride along the whole length of Studland Bay. Amazing experience, cantering along the waterline on a well mannered and easy to ride horse. Something I will always remember. Safe, enjoyable and huge fun for experienced riders.Thank you so much to all the Studland Stables team,
